I wanted to put Krita's swap on a USB drive, but doing so crashes the program. I tried both an 8gb and a 16gb flashdrive. In fact, if I open the default swap location in a window I can see the swap files being created there instead of on the USB drive that I chose under the performance options menu. Any help in fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Bugs go to bugs.kde.org, bugs on the forum only get lost, as it is not possible for us to remember they're here.

In your case, it sounds like this one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363087 But that was fixed a few days before release, so I suggest you check that you have the stable release.

Ok, so I figured out how to get it to work - I created a folder called 'Temp' on the USB drive and selected that for the swap file location, and it's working fine now. Apparently, selecting just the base drive as the temp folder doesn't work.
