Saving For Web in PNG-24

Mon Aug 15, 2016 10:14 pm
**Edit: problem resolved, I found a way around it. Thanks, everyone.

Hello,

What would be the Krita equivalent of saving for web in PNG-24 format on Photoshop? I am looking to create a Snapchat Community Geofilter (https://www.snapchat.com/geofilters/tips.html) and those are its submission requirements. How would one go about doing this, if possible?

Thanks,
Melon

As far as I gather they just mean that the png shouldn't be indexed, which is something you can set in the export options.(It wouldn't be possible when it's semi-transparent to save it as an indexed png anyway)

Weird, though -- 24 bits suggests no alpha channel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_ ... xel_format -- and there is no 6 bits/channel version of PNG, which would make it possible to have RGBA. I'd have to conclude that the snapchat people have got no clue and are just parroting Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-eleme ... ormat.html
