hi,
using krita x64 on my windows 10 laptop when i want a new canvas i press new and the box comes up the canvas size options when making the new canvas always comes up automatically as 4000x3000 pixels. i can switch it between landscape/portrait orientation no problem with the buttons. if i stick to this and press enter the new file opens with those measurements but. the issue is, the create new document box doesnt seem to fit the screen. the white description box in the content section goes lower than the bottom of my screen for example - i cant see the bottom of the box. i assume there is some save or create button there which would solve this problem but trying to resize the box seems impossible. doesnt work from clicking and dragging. whole box can be moved but not resized. i guess this is an issue in itself but so far has only affected my use of canvas sizes. say, if i wanted a 3000x3000 canvas, i would type 3000 into the height, 3000 into the width, but theres nowhere for me to go from there. no button to press. normally would just press enter and itd make the page but as long as ive edited the sizes from what my computer has clearly decided are the acceptable measurements 3000x4000 that doesnt work. or if i touch the size boxes at all for that matter. then it just becomes impossible to open a new file. the enter key does nothing, and there is no button to press. what can i do? hope this makes sense |

I think that is a bug in Krita 2.9. It is fixed in 3.0. The bug has to do with what is in your clipboard. If you have a big image in your clipboard, the new windows gets really big. Again, the problem should be fixed in 3.0

On windows, try Alt-C. I used it a few times when I was on a netbook with a small resolution.
