There is so much done well in this program that this one just blows my mind. Why is the program constructed in such a way that I had to literally search the web to figure out if there is even an eraser function at all? There's no eraser on the lefthand toolbar, only on the brush options toolbar on top (where nobody would expect it, how is it a logical process to select an additive brush to get the option to get a subtractive brush!?!)

Further, its so convoluted that even after reading about this online I STILL don't understand how to set the damned eraser up so I can just click on it and have the eraser brush preset I want instead of having to spend 45 agonizing seconds manually adjusting my brush settings every time I want to switch between painting/drawing and erasing. The only reason why I believe this can be done is others online have said it can be done.

This is constructive feedback, PLEASE just give me a separate eraser brush that remembers its settings so I don't have to spend forty minutes online just to learn the absolute baby town frolics basics of how to use this program.

The worst part of this all is as I said the program is constructed so well. I decided to give it a try after ordering a dated "fujitsu lifebook" with a Wacom display (I got a great traditional pc with a non display Wacom tablet) to try for on the go drawing only to discover it and photoshop don't get along well. Krita does great on it but its layout of its controls is so convoluted that as I said above actually figuring out how to erase efficiently is an impossible task...
