i'd like to have fast access to the the color sampler tool (the thermometer icon), e.g. by adding it to the quick popup palette. can someone tell me how i can do that?

Why not use ctrl+click? (You can even set it to a different shortcut in settings->configure Krita->canvas input settings->alternate invocation)

thx, but my setup is such that i like to use my keyboard as little as possible while drawing, so i like to avoid using ctrl...

Currently it's not possible to add it there as you can only store presets there.
