Hey guys!
Just installed new Krita version (Windows). Problem is: there is a big lag when I try to change brush size with shortcuts (I use Alt+Right mouse button+Drag). Almost impossible to work with this, since I change the size a lot in this way. What could it be? It was working very fast in Krita 3.0. And it seems the settings are the same. Any ideas? Maybe this is related to those weird numbers/characters showing on the top left corner of the window? What am I missing? I already set my Nvidia card to be used when in Krita, as before.

Thanks in advance! I would really appreciate any help! :)

Same problem here. :( It was happening in the beta and I thought they would have fixed it before the final release. Kinda makes it totally not usable until its fixed.

Edit- I don't have those weird numbers at the top corner of my window that you were talking about. Only the zoom percent.

Exactly.I thought it was just a problem with the Beta version.
Here is an image of the strange numbers:

:( This is really sad... I was really impressed with Krita. But then you upgrade and this happens. It is a shame. Hope someone has a solution. I already tried searching for similar problems and tried changing settings with no luck.

Dmitry is working really hard on a solution. The regression came through the addition of the new brush hud feature, and it's hard to fix because not everyone experiences the issue.

Oh, and "weird numbers on top" probably means you turned on the fps counter in the performance page of the settings dialog.

Thanks, Boudewijn! :D
I unchecked "Enable OpenGL Logging" and now those numbers disappeared. :D
It is great news to know that someone is working on it, and that others are having this issue too.

Thanks again! Cheers!

Is there anyway I can help? I don't have knowledge on coding, but if there is something I could do to help, I may give it a try. How can I contact Dmitry? Maybe he knows some way I could help him.

Is there an specific code language I could learn in order to help Krita? So maybe in the future I can try something. The work you guys put in this is amazing. You make it because you like it. And I wanted to contribute whenever and however I can.

Krita is, at the moment, written in C++. We're looking into adding Python to the mix.

For me resizing laggs to. Also when using 'stabilizer' brush smoothing the stroke is lagging a lot (the shift+drag brush resize lags always, but the stroke laggs only when smoothing is set to 'stabilizer')
