Ich have a figur with complex gradient filling. I've selected it with magic wand. If I try to move it, or cut it, or delete - the inner color filling splits somehow. I don't know, whether it bug or there is a corresponding setting, but please - help. It happened with Krita 2.9, it happened with Krita 3.0, it happens with Krita 3.0.1. And it happens only if I select with magic wand

And so looks it like, if I just invert such selection.

As workaround I can click with "Magic Wand" different color areas within selection - then it will be selected really all within and so will be moved in whole piece.

Tweak the threhold -- the colors are too far apart so they don't get all selected.

I understand, they are too far apart, but selection line shows, it has chosen, what I needed. See first images.

No, the selection like shows all selected pixels, even the ones that are only 1% selected.

Sorry, I can't understand "pixel, which selected for only 1%". Pixel is one, it can't be selected partially, can it?

It can. Turn on the alternate selection mode to see how: https://docs.krita.org/Selections#Display_Modes Selections are stored like a grayscale image, which allows anti-aliasing and semi-selections, which in turn are useful for painters. |

boudewijn, TheraHedwig, Thank you, for clearing it out! I just haven't known, it's possible: "For example, you can create a selection with a gradient."
