Hi! I started using Krita a couple of weeks ago, and it's great so far! However, I'm having a lot of trouble importing my pencil sketches into the program (I take pictures with my phone and upload them to my computer) and then exporting them as PNG files. I eventually want to upload them to the web.

Sometimes when I import an image and save it as a .kra, it's successful. And sometimes I can then export this .kra as a .png, but not every time. Sometimes it exports as a file format that I can't identify. Instead of the image preview being an actual preview of the artwork, it's just a blank white page). I'm not sure what the common denominator is -- it feels so hit and miss. I feel like I've tried everything, and I'd like to start digitally inking my comic as soon as I'm able. :)

If you have any suggestions, please let me know! eg. Should I scan the images? Does the size of the image I'm importing make a significant difference as to what type of file Krita can save/export it as?

Thanks!
