Hey lads,
I wanted to post this before, but I was traveling. When I updated to Krita 3.0.1 I also noted that Instant Preview mode is not working anymore. I switch it on, but makes no difference as it did back in 3.0. I didn't mess with any configuration, just installed it and had this problem. Is someone else having this issue? Is there a solution? Thanks in advance! Cheers! ![]() |

You need to give a bit more information? Like, you can switch it on... But maybe you aren't zoomed out? Do you see a 'instant preview activated; messages or not?
I mean, that noone has responded up till now might mean, noone else has had the same issue, so I guess being a little bit more specific might help? |

Ok.
I know how it works. I made some paintings with instant preview on the previous version. And it worked. Here is the explanation: I switch it ON. NO message shows up, but the instant preview option on view tab has a TICK, showing it is enabled. I ZOOM OUT. I DRAW with a BIG BRUSH and it LAGS the same way as if it was OFF. I used the same canvas size (4500 x 3200 px) as I did on Krita 3.0, the same brushes, same color mode, same dpi. It behaves as if instant preview is really not turned on. Thanks. |

yeah I'm having exactly the same issue with 3.0.1.
Edit: I went into the brush settings and unchecked/rechecked instant preview at the bottom, that seemed to fix it ![]() Edit #2: ah **** looks like it's not working anymore lol, unchecking and rechecking doesn't work now. |

Dude, I did it and it worked! Thanks. Crazy stuff. If it returns to not working I will let you know. |
