I want to create a brush tip from couple of layers, but this option doesn't work as it should.
When new stamp window appears after I press "Stamp" button, it has nothing in the preview and after I try to create this stamp, nothing happens. There's no brush in the list, it doesn't even exist in the resources folder.

I'm using 3.0.1.1 version.

Exactly the same for me. It worked minutes ago. I downloaded the appimage of the new version 3.1.2 and I think that's when it stopped working. But now it doesn't work even on 3.1.1.
What's going on ?
This means trouble for me right now.

As i remember it was always bugy. Better to use "Clipboard" to create new tips, unless you want animated one.

If you want "Stamp" to work, well, It usually works okay if you restart Krita, open the file, make some brush strokes and only then hit "Stamp". Seems like Krita bound itself to this file so you need restart to get new tip from another file.

I tried this and it didn't work. What file are you referring to ?

If I trying to create new animated brush tip and get this problem I save it in as .kra file. Then I open this file and try again, sometimes it works.

Still nothing. BTW yes I'm making an animated brush (although it doesn't change anything if I select "Regular").

Just save it as *.gih (GIMP Image Hose Brush).
Then import it through the "Edit Brush settings" dialog.

Thank you very much, but I think I just encountered 2 other bugs now and my problem is still not really solved. I don't know if it's because of the new Krita 3.2.2 but I doubt my computer is that broken. So I'd like to know if I'm the only one having these issues.

it is a bug with creating a new stamp. I just did a fix for it in the master branch.

It looks like it broke a year or two ago, so the bug has probably been around for a while. I imagine people have just using the clipboard brush when making normal brush tips.

The fix will probably appear in the next release that goes out.
