Is there any way to make (or emulate) a soft-to-hard brush?

I'm talking about a circular brush starting from 0% hardness at 0% pressure, to 100% hardness at 100% pressure.

Not something I need right now but I feel it might be useful to some.

Open the brush editor.
Click on "brush tip"
On "mask type" select "Default"
On "Fade" set horizontal and vertical fade to 1.00
Mark the checkbox for "softness"
Edit the Pressure Curve to your preferences.
