Laptop Pen

Fri Nov 11, 2016 5:44 pm
Hello all,

im in need of a bit of help.

I recently got a dell inspiron 13 2-in-1 and am loving the new touch screen with pen.
My problem comes in that Krita doesnt seem to register the fact that i can use my pen when i try to draw with the brush. Everything else works fine, such as selecting the options menus or even using the pen.
When i am at home i will hook up my Huion K58 drawing tablet. I know what you're thinking now, "Just bring the tablet with you?" Answer is not that simple. The tablet itself is HUGE. Like the size of a 15" laptop screen. As well as i need a large desk space to be able to do my work. Not easy to do at either a bus stop or sitting in class with limited desk space no bigger than a standard keyboard.
If anyone can help with configuration or if this can be fixed for a new patch that'd be great!

What kind of drivers come with that pen? Is it wacom-like, e-ink, or maybe just a felt nub that imitates a finger? Krita only works with wintab, which is what wacom and huion and others use.
