Hi, I'm still using 2.9.11 and I'm running into this issue frequently. When I try to flatten an image krita freezes and becomes unresponsive for an indeterminate amount of time. This also happens when I try to manually flatten or merge down every layer in that image. This does not happen with every image strangely enough.

Solutions?

EDIT: I installed 3.0 and the same issue is happening. Now it doesn't go unresponsive, but it still doesn't ever flatten the image. Saving the file as a jpg works fine though, I'll just stick with that unless I find a solution.

Please report a bug and attach a .kra file with which the problem is reproducible.

Thank you, I found others with the same issue and they seemed to be able to fix it by just updating, which is what I did. Hopefully this doesn't happen with any images I start with 3.0.
