Confused about bundles

Thu Nov 17, 2016 12:49 pm
Hello. I'm trying to transfer my workspace to another computer. I have read the manual on bundles but it doesn't really specify how the pop-up palette is affected. Is the pop-up palette considered part of the workspace? Are tags part of the workspace? After all, what I'm after is having both my brushes with their tags transfer to my new workspace, but brushes are separate bundles. So is the popup palette part of the brushes or the workspace?
I have added my own tag to some default brushes, and made one new brush. I want them to appear in my new workspace just like my old pop-up palette. It took a long time to make a decent selection (testing every single brush) and it's very hard to keep doing it again and again.

I would also like to mention that when creating a brush preset bundle, it is a pain not being able to sort by tags and having to sift through all (as far as I could tell).

You can copy the entire config folder. this should keep tags, custom brushes, general configuration, workspaces and more. Pretty much everything.

On Windows. Copy the folder %appdata%\krita and the files %localappdata%\kritarc %localappdata%\kritashortcutsrc and %localappdata%\kritalanguageoverridesrc.

On linux. Copy the folder ~/.local/krita and the files ~/.config/kritarc ~/.config/kritasortcutsrc and ~/.config/kritalanguageoverridesrc.

On OSX I have no idea. Although it must be pretty similar to Linux.
