Krita Newbie

Thu Nov 17, 2016 2:36 pm
Hi there,

we are currently looking at Krita as an alternative to Photoshop but there are a few functionality issues we have come across that I am sure there is an answer to, I just can;t find the solution myself.

I'll just talk about one firstly which is the Clone tool. We want to be able to clone from "current and below" or " all layers as we can in Photoshop but can't seem to see how to do it, or find the answer on line; does anyone have a quick explanation? I'm assuming it is possible.

Cheers in advance.

A lot of things that are "tools" in Photoshop are brushes in Krita. For the clone brush, see: https://docs.krita.org/Clone. For more information about the transition, see: https://docs.krita.org/Introduction_to_ ... _Photoshop
