Palm rejection?

Mon Nov 21, 2016 1:12 pm
Hi. I just got Krita 3.0 a few days ago and am loving it on the most part but I am having problems with my wacom cintiq companion (windows 10 version) reading the side of my hand as a 2 finger pinch and moving my canvas around. I would like to continue using 2 finger pinch and zoom, and hopefully soon rotate, because I used to it in photoshop. So my question is is there a palm rejection setting somewhere that I have not yet found that will allow me to continue using touch? If not does anyone know if there are plans to add it. Thanks.

As far as I understand, the OS or the drivers should take care of that, not the application. So maybe somewhere in the driver settings? I know that with win7 and my cintiq hybrid companion, there's no problem.

Oh! Ok thanks. I just know that photoshop works fine for me and Krita doesn't. I tried to change from windows touch to wacom touch and that didn't help. The only other setting I see in my wacom tablet is to dissable touch. Maybe someone can let me know if there is a setting in windows 10 for this, I already checked that I do have the correct handedness set and turning on 'turn off touch when I use a pen' did nothing. I also checked that all of my drivers are up to date.

In Windows 10 go to Settings > Devices > Pen and Windows Ink
Tick "Ignore touch input when i'm using my pen"
