Hey all, does Krita work with Shuttle? https://www.thomann.de/nl/contour_shutt ... _black.htm
Specifically, can the jog wheel be mapped to Rotate Canvas, and can it work with both shuttle and tablet? |

If you can map the jog whell to a key press, or to mouse whell up/down, then you can use Krita's shortcut configuration to assign canvas rotation to the mapped input on the jog whell.
Default shortcut for canvas rotation are "4 = rotate 15 degrees left" and "6 = rotate 15 degrees right". |

I know this is a seriously old thread and I see no replies to answer the question, so I'm pushing this.
I have a ShuttlePRO v2 and using it for tablet Krita in Windows 10. I use it as a super mouse to handle canvas rotation, UNDO, DELETE, and other nifty tasks. However, at my LINUX Mint desktop, I have not tried to use it there cause I'm not a programmer and not sure how to install the darn thing. Someday I will get the courage to decipher the Shuttle Pro instructions I found by other trail blazers at GitHub. For now, I have two sliders and 10 programmable buttons that get the job done using my (now antique) Wacom Cintiq DTZ -1200W. The 1200W is an outstanding pen tablet with Krita. The right side controls handle canvas rotation and other tasks, while the left side handles zoom, delete, undo tasks. Anyway, the goal is to mate the Shuttle Pro with Krita at the desktop using Linux Mint...some day. If anyone else has had success using ShuttlePro with Krita/Linux, please chime in. Thanks. |

Shuttle Pro v2 now working with Krita.
There have been updates for the software. https://github.com/agraef/ShuttlePRO I'm not a programmer, but I got it to work and it works very well. Two of the keys don't work and may have a bug, but 13 programmable keys are in fact working smoothly and reliably. This is a big boost for me and work flow as I do not like the Wacom Keyexpress. It's hard to manipulate. The ShuttlePRO is big and easy to operate. And yes, the jog and wheels work with Krita to rotate and zoom the canvas. Cheers! |
