Hello everyone,

I am trying to work on an assignment, concerning the creation of artwork.
After toying around with Krita I bumped into a wall concerning the following issue :
using the outerglow filter on a layer, as well as trying to recreate this effect with custom blurs creates banding, even when I'm working in 32-bit depth colorspace.
Am I missing something or is the way that Krita processes these effects of very low quality?

Here is an example image.

It's rather that your screen cannot show the inbetween values, they're still there in the actual document. We haven't had the time to implement display dithering or something like that to apply when converting highbit depth images to the screen output.
