When trying to save a file I've worked on in Krita, I get the message "You don’t have permission to save in this location. Contact the Administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the public pictures folder instead? Yes or No.”
This only happens with files I've worked on in Krita. If I open the same file for example, in Paint, I have no problem saving it. I only installed Krita last week and everything worked fine until Monday the 12th of December, when suddenly I wasn't able to save any files in any format anywhere in my computer, if I had opened them in Krita. I have tried uninstalling and installing Krita, but it didn't help. Any ideas what to do? |

Which version of Krita and which operating system? And could you show a screenshot?

Windows 10, last update 14th of December 2016
Krita (x64) 3.1.1.0 (installed today the last time) I can't seem to be able to attach a screenshot (it would be in Finnish anyway). |

Does it make a difference whether you run krita as administrator or an ordinary user? It must be some kind of permissions problem, so maybe that is related.

I tried that today, too, and it didn't help.
I've been asking help from someone who works as windows it support, and they went through all the administration permission issues (because they are common in windows 10). |

Hm, and the one thing that changed is that Krita now first saves a temporary file in the temp dir, then copies it back when saving has succeeded -- so maybe something is wrong with your temp dir?

We have now emptied Windows temp files, does Krita have its own temp folder?
