Finally got Krita up and running on my Surface 3. I've been doodling about with the brush engine all day, even created some brushes of my own.

But, I can't get the brush strokes to go from thick to thin. I can go from thin to thick, or thin to thick to thin. But every brush stroke starts thin, no matter how much pressure I put on it. This really throws some of my painting techniques out the window. If anybody could offer some advise, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi kirkisartist

Have you tried to invert the pressure curve of the size parameter, just take the node for low to the top and node for high all the way towards bottom.
take a look at the curve(graph) shown in this page -> https://docs.krita.org/Parameters#Size
you have to create a horizontally flipped curve.
