Can I make the workspace less cluncky?

yeah , i have my krita highly calibrated to make more space on my laptop , because my laptop have a very low resolution

Looks like you have a much smaller resolution than the video screenshot you linked here.
You can't reduce the size because of the animation docker, this is the minimun width for it.
You can hide, make it float, or change the position to bottom. Then you can resize the dockers on the left.
Dockers are drag and drop enabled. Just grab it on the title, and drop it wherever you want.
