New feature in Painter 2017 called 'glazing', which means you can control the blending separately from the general opacity of brush strokes/dabs.

It's somewhat reminiscent of Krita's "Greater" blending mode.

Isn't this the same thing as setting the "painting mode" to Wash instead of Build-up? i believe wash is even the default for most brush presets that come with krita?

Yeah the buildup in settings is brush specific, so I basically will need to do that for every brush. I thought maybe there is a global button doing the same thing, so I can pick whatever brush I want, go out the settings, and then just click a button on top somewhere xD
