Isn't this the same thing as setting the "painting mode" to Wash instead of Build-up? i believe wash is even the default for most brush presets that come with krita?

Yeah the buildup in settings is brush specific, so I basically will need to do that for every brush. I thought maybe there is a global button doing the same thing, so I can pick whatever brush I want, go out the settings, and then just click a button on top somewhere
