While working today with the new version 3.1 that I downloaded 14/12 I experience quite a lot of lag. When I go back to the September version (3.0.1) everything go smooth.

I am not sure how to document it, but I have switched around a couple of times and am sure that it happens.

I work on a Mageia Linux system , KDE Plasma 5.1.2 and use the 64 bit appimage.

If anything 3.1.1 should have better performance. There were some changes to the opengl display system, and maybe that's related, but there's not enough change to really explain how for some people 3.1.1 feels slower that 3.0.1...

The version with lag was a 3.1 not 3.1.1 which I have now downloaded. I haven't experienced lag in 3.1.1 but the rendering seems a little flimsy (I know bad description). I'll revert to 3.0.1 for now and then try again in the holiday.
