Image Type - Sliced

Thu Dec 22, 2016 1:54 am
Hi Guys,

Unity has this feature where you can slice an image with the option to fill its centre if needed. Its mainly used for UI elements but thought it could be handy in krita.

I noticed when I draw containers or frames and try and re-shape them that they become distorted. I guess the main advantage with a sliced image is that it keeps the borders uniformed during scaling or transformations. It works by dividing the image into 9 parts. That was it can maintain the corners, stretch the rest of the borders, and fill the centre if needed.

Not sure if krita has anything like this. The closest I could find was split image.
