I noticed that Krita does not save this option when I'm opening the image I've previously painted. All the shadings are gone because it's turned off. I have several group layers than use this option, because it's turned off I need to remembed which group that use this option.

The option is always turned off by default when I reopen the file.
I'm using Windows 10 64 bit, Krita 3.1.1

That looks like a bug, please report it to bugs.kde.org, it's a regression from 2.9. As for the reddit, are we looking at the same reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/krita/) -- seven answered questions in a day isn't "not really active".

Yeah, it would be nice to have krita remeber this option when we save document. I thought it was intended, not a bug :/

Update: no need for bug report, I just fixed the issue.

Thanks! Do I need to resave the file with the new Krita later?

Yes it's the subreddit, I previously posted a question there but got no satisfying answer. Sorry, I meant Krita developers/staffs seem not active there.

Btw can you see my another post here about ~ file? It's not fatal bug but quite annoying when opening many reference images. Sometimes my exported file also has the duplicated ~ file.

You must realize how incredibly small the developer/volunteer community is. There is no "staff", there is no company, there's just a non-profit that tries to pay one or two developers, and that has a budget for which Adobe couldn't hire a reception clerk :-) Check how many answers are given by boudewijnrempt or raghukamath... And yes, I've seen that, but I already fixed that issue yesterday, I think.

Sorry I didn't mean sound to rude..
I'm surprised that Krita only has one or two developers, I want to know if I can somehow contribute to Krita. Thank you for developing Krita!
