Have to admit... 3.1 has been pretty rocky for me. One big issue it's having is it's saving all of my JPEG images as pure black, blank images. I've tweaked with the settings, tried changing resolutions, resizing, and tried different colors for the canvas layer. But it just doesn't work.
I'm on linux, Ubuntu 16.04 and am using the Krita 3.1 app image. |

Well, there were some changes to saving, but I can save jpeg files without any trouble, of course. That goes without saying, because otherwise we wouldn't have released. Please provide one of the original .kra files so I can check what's up. And it might be a good idea to do a screencast showing us what you're doing doing or a screenshot of the the .jpeg export dialog with your settings.

boudewijn is it possible to revert the autosave change? It is acting super weird now (in 3.1.1), to the extend i had to turn it off. |

Not sure if autosaving is the issue, but uhh... for some reason it's JUST on this one file. The strange part is that only on this file, if it has a transparent BG it'll just turn the entire image black, it doesn't do that on any other, and I've tried playing with the settings when I go to save to make sure it doesn't do that. Nothing.
Edit:: I COULD show you the file I was working on. But the content within the file may be offensive. |

Just send me the image privately (vurian at gmail.com). After rescuing an image of a sheep with its two members being kissed by a young lady of unlikely proportions, I think I can handle most things...
Btw, a transparent background turning black when saving to jpg is normal and expected. You can select the fill color in the options dialog, but jpeg cannot save transparent pixels. |
