Cursor shape is off my cursor

Sun Jan 08, 2017 6:45 am
You know how there's a setting to change your cursor shape?
Whenever I try changing it, the new cursor is always off from the real cursor loaction.
The cursor shape (say "black pixel" or "crosshair") is always a couple millimeters off my actual cursor (the yellow circle), so whenever I try to draw something, it gets drawn to the lower right of where my cursor is. (or seems to be)
It seems to go away when I take out my drawing tablet and start drawing with my mouse, but when I'm drawing with my tablet, it's always off a little and makes the drawing a lot difficult for me. The whole reason why I changed my cursor was to see where I'm drawing better, is there any way to fix this please?

(sorry if this is a bit hard to understand :( )

Sounds like you need to calibrate your tablet.

Well, everything else seems to work perfectly with my tablet, not to mention that the default yellow circle (for the cursor) is correctly matched with my motions.
But at this point I'm up for anything; how do I calibrate my tablet? (It's a Huion H610 Pro.) Have you got any idea how to calibrate it?
Thanks! ;D

I'm assuming you may be on windows? If so, use the latest huion drivers for your tablet model and the utility program that it comes with its sotfware for calibration. You can also check on the huion forums and or their devianart page, they usually respond quick to this issues.

I am having a similar issue, not sure if it's the exact same issue though? My brush outline is constantly about 10 pixels left of where my pen tip is. However for some tools like the fill tool and the rectangular selection tool the cursor appears perfectly aligned with my pen, but functions offset to the left like the brush. Everything is properly aligned when I use the mouse. I have tried calibrating my tablet but that did not help.

I am using Window 7 and multiple monitors, one of which is a Cintiq 24HD. I have tried this tip to get the tablet properly aligned. I've tried each of the 3 options more than once and whenever I manage to get the brush outline and other tools aligned with my pen tip it causes pressure sensitivity to not function.

I have managed to find a solution but it's a frustrating work around. If I remove all user preferences through the wacom tablet preference file utility then my cursor is aligned and pressure sensitivity is working. However this removes all of my stored hotkeys for the tablet and tablet pen, and when I restore the preferences it breaks again. I don't have any idea which of my tablet's properties could be causing this issue, and resetting every express key and pen button for multiple programs is going to be a bit of a chore.

Noticed this problem just yesterday, seemingly out of the blue. Using my tablet with Photoshop the cursor is properly aligned and pressure sensitivity works. Tablet driver is up to date. Krita is version 3.1.1

In the past few days, two people have had Wacom tablet problems that were fixed by reverting to the previous driver version. Wacom issued a driver update that seems to have problems. Did you notice an update recently?

I was replying to the post from triciac. Sorry for any confusion.
