Does the Radeon 400 series support 10bit for OpenGL software (Krita) on Ubuntu?

I have no idea; I even don't know whether Krita didn't break support for 10 bits/channel display. I've got the right hardware to setup an nvidia-based test system, but I haven't had the time to investigate what's needed to make opensuse/x11 work with 10 bits/channel.

As far as a know, on Windows a NVIDIA Quadro or AMD Pro graphic card is needed to get 10bit using OpenGL. But, I'm not sure if Linux drivers support 10bit/OpenGL for some gaming GPUs:

Well, the card in question is a quadro, and there is a displayport cable and a 10bit sun, I mean, monitor... it's just that boud hasn't figured out yet where the option is to turn 10bit display on. If you don't tinker with the display much the amount of options in the driver can be quite intimidating

I intend to buy a 10bit monitor. Perhaps one day Darktable and Gimp will also support 10bit. Is the AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100 a good choice? Unfortunately it's more expensive than a Radeon 460 :/
