Hello, first of all I want to say I really enjoy using Krita as an artist as it to me has many advantages to other commercial or free painting software.
The problem I have is that when I create a large canvas (about 3000 x 3000 pixels and above) and try to draw several lines in quick repetition there is a noticeable delay between each line until the next line is properly shown. This occurs only if i go to a zoomed out perspective from where I can see the whole canvas on my Full HD Screen. If I go to a closer perspective drawing works flawlessly. Lower resolution also seems to solve this error. Still there is a noticeable flickering between each stroke from zoomed out perspective which is kinda distracting sometimes. Does anyone know these problems or has any solution how to solve them so that I can draw on larger scaled images seamlessly? Thanks in advance seb My PC configuration: Nvidia GTX 770 (SLI) Intel i7 4th gen. 16 Gb ram Windows 10 (64 bit) |

Try to disable Instant Preview. That is meant to make big brush strokes on large canvases more interactive, but it doesn't work when you place many small brush strokes quickly -- because it first does a scaled down version of your stroke and then computes the stroke at full resolution.

Ok, thank you very much. It solved my problem. Seems I have overseen this. :-P
