Is there a version of the new animation Krita that'll work on a 32-bit Linux machine ?

You can try either the snap or the new lime ppa or building yourself. We have not been able to build appimages for 32bit linux, and you aren't telling me which linux you are running, so I cannot help you further.

Thanks for quick response. I am using lubuntu. The machine is now behaving badly so I'm going to start from scratch - I'll come back when my question is better, but will try your suggestion in the meantime. Thanks again.
