Is there any way to prevent Krita from dynamically changing the brush's cursor size when using a brush that changes size depending on pen pressure? The cursor's size fluctuates too much for me and actually makes me lose track of where the center of the cursor is.

You can change it to a small circle through Configure Krita in Settings .

I've tried that and unfortunately that only changes the shape of the cursor. I want it to stop changing its size based on the pen pressure.

I don't think there is an option for that. Now for me, what keep my eye on the spot is to use the "crosshair" for the cursor shape, it always shows the center of the brush, while keeping the outline, I actually find that dynamic resize very handy, but I can see how it may not be for other users. You can also try no outline at all, or not showing it while you draw (bottom check box).

I have same issue than DeeKay, and do same type of workaround than Quiralta: keep a mix of brush outline + a cursor ( I use or small circle or right-arrow ). Right now the outline in 'hover' mode always display the maximal size/diameter and on-click it suddenly shrinks down to the minimal size/diameter. It blinks a lot, especially while drawing with small presets with a lot of dynamics ...
I would really like something better too, but If you start thinking about it ; it's quickly a hard topic to find an ideal solution. Any ideas? |

Thanks for the suggestion Quiralta! It works well as a workaround, though I would still prefer the cursor size to remain constant. It would certainly be nice to have it as an option.
On a side note, I want to thank you David for your tutorials. They've been extremely helpful in learning how to use Krita and your artwork is just lovely! |
