Hello!
I have a problem with pen offset with Krita where the cursor appears to be slightly off from the pen. It always starts off as perfectly aligned when I open Krita, but any kind of movement, particularly curves, will throw it off in whatever direction I moved the pen and it will remain uncalibrated. I've only had this issue on the drawing canvas of Krita--not in the menus, not off to the side, and not on any other program (including Gimp and the trail version of Photoshop I have). The problem started when I installed WinTab drivers to try to get pen pressure, which I never had before. The pen pressure is there, but the offset makes Krita pretty unusable. Uninstalling the driver fixes the offset, but also gets rid of the pressure sensitivity. I'm using a Surface Pro 3 with the Surface pen it came with. Everything on my pc is updated, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Krita and the Wintab drivers, I've tried using older versions of Krita (3.0 and I think 2.9.11), I've tried installing Photoshop since I've seen that work for others with similar issues, I've tried adjusting the screen resolution settings for Krita, nothing has worked. I've also tried calibrating the pen in my computer settings, but that didn't fix it either, as well as using 32-bit versions of both Krita and the Wintab driver. If you have any ideas as to what's wrong or how I can fix this issue, please let me know! While I can always go back to using Krita without pressure sensitivity, I'd much prefer to be able to use it. Thank you for your time! |
