How to turn the colour of a picture into monochrome

Hi,
i am trying to turn the colour of a picture into a monochrome picture.
But i dont find a way to make this possible :(

Could you help me, please?

Please note that Monochrome and Grayscale are two different things.

For a monochrome image use:
Filter > G'MIC > Black & White > Stamp

For a greyscale image use:
Filter > Adjust > Desaturate.
