Mirror painting activates randomly

Sun Apr 09, 2017 9:14 pm
Hi everyone.

Very happy with Krita 3.1.3 beta, it is the faster version of Krita that I´ve used, no crashes until now and the brushes feel better and don´t know it´s just great, but sometimes I´m drawing and mirror painting activates randomly, I´m doing a trace and at the same time appears another 3 traces that tends to converge in the center, and I have to save and close krita and then open it again to solve the problem.

Another issue is that my new krita is not remembering paths, I can open recent documents from the list but when i want to save as a new it opens the krita installation folder.

Otherwise, I´m very happy with the new version, and the new tools for animation, thank You so much!!

I´m on windows 7 64 bits, using Krita 3.1.3 beta portable version.

EDIT: In some misterious way, Krita is remembering paths now, and about the mirror painting, I think it could be some conflict with my shortcut for zoom in wich is M, I don´t know, sometimes krita works in misterious ways.

Thanks boudewijn!

Yes... if mirroring and zoom have the same shortcut, it's not so strange that mirroring gets activated in what seems like a random way. The problem is that mirroring and zoom use a different system for handling input, so neither system checks the other system for duplicates.
