Hello,

I just downloaded Krita 3.1.2 to try it (finally !) on my mac, but it doesn't want to open : I click on the Icon, it starts to load but then stops with an error message saying "Krita quitted unexpectedly". Is there a problem with my OS version ? (I work with Mac OS X 10.8.5, Mountain Lion).

Thank you for your help !

i think your macos version is too old for krita, you need 10.9 or higher or maybe 10.10 ,though you might be able to find an older experimental build but it might not work good

That's correct, as noted on the download page. I've never made builds for any version of OSX earlier than 10.9.

Shoot… Thank you for your help ! I will try to find an older version for my poor old OS… If it's possible ? For the moment, I can't find it anywhere.

No, it's not possible. I have never made any builds, as I said, for OSX < 10.9, because I never had an OSX < 10.9 since I started making builds. And only two or three other people have built Krita on OSX, and they also didn't build for < 10.9. If you want it, you must build it yourself.

ohhh ok I understand, thank you for your answer. I may think about upgrading my OS, though.
