I didn't understand how to file a bug report so here's the bug and a primitive fix too.
I downloaded Krita from official site and installed. Somehow it determined that i am from Latvia, and enabled Latvian language. It only affected 10% of the text as i would expect, since it's never really translated anywhere. However when i navigate to change the language, it displays the current language as American English already. After i set language to let's say British English and restarted and later reinstalled, the menu pop ups are still in Latvian. The "yes, no, cancel" and some others. Changing language to default and back, all that did nothing. What i did was, navigated to Krita (x64)\bin\translations and deleted the file for Latvian language. Didn't seem to cause any other bugs. My version is 3.1.2.1 64bit not portable. This is kind of weird that it just makes it not English by some guess. The website isn't even available in Latvian, if they downloaded they sure could navigate to change language to whichever they please. To be honest this makes no sense really. |
