1- free transform icon, is there anything like that because it is difficult to keep switching between the keyboard and tablet
2- is it possible add/remove tool icons from the left side docker? (move, lasso, text tool, etc) 3- is it possible to desaturate slightly? in photoshop I used hue/sat to easily edit colors. all i see in krita is a color balance thing and complicated adjustments for shadows, midtones, etc. 4- I want to use the brush popup palette, is there a better toggle than "right-click"? I tried to set it to my wacom's dial button, but it doesn't work. 5- smart blur in photoshop let me use advanced settings, what about krita? 6- are there addons or third party filters? |

1. Unless you mean you haven't found the transform tool, I have no idea what you could possibly mean with that sentence.
2. The set of tools is fixed, you can blacklist tools by adding entries to the ToolsBlacklist line in kritarc. By default that line has CreatePathTool,KoPencilTool,ConnectionTool,KarbonFilterEffectsTool 3. Filter/Adjust/HSV Adjustement 4. You can bind it to any keypress or mouse/tablet even you want. No idea about the "wacom dial button" because on my wacom mobilstudio, that one is fixed to the windows key, and cannot be rebound. 5. If you miss a feature in Krita, you need to code it yourself. I automatically dismiss any feature request phrased like "Application X has this feature. What about Krita?" Krita is its own thing, and we have our own goals for it. 6. There are lots of add-on brush packs, but Krita's API isn't stable, and that means that nobody has made extra filters that don't get added to Krita itself. Since Krita is licensed under the GPL, any third-party add-on also would need to be licensed under the GPL. |

you could call the G'MIC filters "third-party", except they are nicely integrated and shipped with krita.
you can also write your own filters and effects in G'MICs own programming language, if i understand correctly. |

1. Ctrl-T activates the transform tool. Look at the tool options after pressing Ctrl-T.
2. No idea about tools blacklisting. Would love to know more though. 3. I've mapped to the space-bar and it works every time. |

1- that's just the tool options, its not a button to activate free transform.
3- can you tell me where the palette popup is in the keyboard shortcuts edit section? |

1. There is "Transform Layer or selection" in the toolbox, which is invoked by Ctrl-T.
2. Check Settings - Configure Krita - Canvas Input Settings - Show Popup Palette. You can change the settings there. |

It isn't the button highlighted in the toolbox in the screenshot you shared?

ohh i see now. I was looking at the top toolbar, not the side toolbar.
boudewijn: I hope you can still answer how to blacklist tools 2. The set of tools is fixed, you can blacklist tools by adding entries to the ToolsBlacklist line in kritarc. By default that line has CreatePathTool, KoPencilTool, ConnectionTool, KarbonFilterEffectsTool |
