Hello, I been learning to use Krita: recently I tried using the Outline Selection tool to delete parts from an image, but every time I do it what I get is a white shape. It's like at the time I delete the selection is replaced with plain white color.

How I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

Solved: I'm using a Mac pro with Krita's Windows version and on this laptop the backspace key often works as a delete key. On Krita when you press the backspace during a selection fills it with Background/foreground color, so the solution is using the "Delete key" that works pressing function (fn) + Backspace to actually delete the selection.
