How to erase brush?

Tue May 09, 2017 12:22 pm
I've tried to search for this topic but found nothing.
Should be very simple, but I just can't find it, and it bugs me a lot when it starts to make duplicates of my brushes.
Thanks!

Any brush works as an eraser when you press "E". Alternatively, you can also save any brush preset with the blending mode of the brush set to "Erase" on the main toolbar.

Not "Eraser brush" but: "erase THE brush" or "DELETE the brush"

Sometimes I make modifications in the brush, I save with the same name, but Krita makes a duplicate, so let's say I have 4 brushes called "1". I can't remove them.

Ahh! To delete a brush, you can open brush presets on the main toolbar, select a brush, then click on the delete icon on the bottom. It will only blacklist the preset though, not completely delete it, as far as I know. To permanently delete, you have to delete them from the disk.

Sorry, I see no "delete icon" :'(

Delete Resource icon. It's not in the brush preset docker, it's on the main toolbar.

Thanks for pointing out! I don't know why I didn't try this presets button before.
Like I said before, it's simple, I was missing something :D
