Color picker shortcut stops working

Sat Jun 03, 2017 12:28 pm
I have installed Krita on macOS with a Wacom tablet. Everything works fine, except the colour picker. I assigned picking the foreground colour to cmd key (also tried option/alt key). Then I assigned one of the stylus button to cmd key, so that I can pick a colour from my stylus. Initially the problem is that when I press the button, it will arbitrarily activate colour picking or pop-up palate, which is unusable. After I removed the pop-up palate shortcuts, the colour picker seems to work. However, after drawing for a while, the button just stops working (sometimes, if I put a stroke down, the colour picker will momentarily come back when I hit the button next time). At this time, I had to switch to use my keyboard to use colour picker (using the cmd key). But then after continuing drawing, the keyboard key will finally stops working, too. Sometimes, after I hit the cmd key, I can see the colour picker cursor, however it will not pick any colour. And from then on, only the actual colour picker tool will work (so I had to switching between a brush and a colour picking tool). I tried to save my image, and restart Krita, and still no luck. Is this a known problem, or anyone else is having the same issue?
