Something ive noticed for a long time now is that sometimes on rare occurences brush tags get removed/deleted somehow. It has happened in all the linuxes ive ever used. like today i restarted my laptop and my custom brush tag is gone in krita. i I hate that it because it makes me mad.
the weirdest part about it is i didnt even tamper with anything concerning krita, Anyone know reasons why they just disappear ? |

Hi,
- Is the "paintoppresets" folder inside the Krita configuration directory all empty? - I know it's obvious but did you by chance reset Krita configuration recently? It has never happened to me, I'm sorry |

oh Nope , i did not reset or tamper with anything in krita as i stated and there is 1 thing in there that says .kpp , my brush settings are still there though. i wonder how it happens , its happened more than once where i start up krita and my custom tag is missing all of a sudden. How does it happen ? |

Gingle, I'm sorry, I have no ideas why this happens.
I guess you've already searched the bug reports (https://bugs.kde.org/) for similar issues. Maybe knowing the OS and the Krita version could be useful for others in order to help. |

There was nothing there,What's sorta even more bizarre is my custom workspace setting and all other settings are still there , just my brush tag is all gone . so i had to re-tag them again .i also noticed That day when they got reset, the stuff that was in my xfce panel such as my cpu graph also got reset too. I did not know where brush tag settings where stored prior to going to the forums, but now this time i know and i will make a back up of it so it will never ever happen again
