Does anyone have a problem where in krita, the colours are quite desaturated, but when saved, its saturated?

It's probably related to color profiles. Check if going through the steps mentioned in: https://docs.krita.org/Saving_for_the_Web helps, and make sure to uncheck 'embed profile'.

Still same issue. Did exactly what you've advice and did not work.
Please click and have a look at the issue here: https://68.media.tumblr.com/d5cc5b33f9c ... o1_540.png On the left if my saved image, on the right is the one in Krita. Such a shame because Krita is a good software! I hope you can help me with it so I can continue using Krita ![]() |

It would be best to share complete screenshots (I mean of the entire Krita window, that shows what color model and depth you're using) and a link to the original kra file, just from two thumbnails next to each other it's hard to see what you are doing exactly.

The saturation is probably caused by a color profile issue still, but in this case a mismatch between your monitor and krita. Check that settings->color management is the same as in the color management panel of your system. We've had reports that windows sometimes sets up profiles to their users color management without notifying the user. This means that webbrowsers like firefox will use that profile, while Krita by default is set to sRGB because we assume that most people do not have a profile set. This difference is what causes the color difference.

Hi, I am using a macbook air, so I am not using windows.
Here's the full screen shot of krita: https://68.media.tumblr.com/ef26a8413a8 ... o1_540.png My macbook doesnt have the same colour code as krita -> sRGB-elle-v2-srgbtrc.icc . How should I go about? Not too sure how to upload my original kra file here? thanks! |

Okay, then try to set the colormanagement profile in Krita to the one your macbook uses in it's color management settings. You should be ablet o do this with 'use system profile', but if that doesn't work, find the profile manually and tell us if it doesn't work, because then that feature is bugged.

On OSX, you need to do that manually, only on Linux with colord can Krita find the system color profile. You can put your kra file on dropbox or something like that and add a link here.

I am not sure how this is going to help them. The problem is that safari or firefox is using the system monitor profile to show their sRGB image funny. Krita needs to be set to use their system monitor profile. |

Can't find the color system manually, and the 'use system profile' did not work.
Screenshot after checking 'use system profile' : https://ibb.co/j7kZV5 and my KRA file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/omvz3894qhexx ... o.kra?dl=0 Hope you can access these ! |
