How do I move the preset editor?

It's really hard to reach and uncomfortable to use with a tablet up there on the left. How do I move it somewhere down and to the right? How do I open it and keep it open all the time?

Currently not possible. It used to be possible, but then a QT bug made it impossible. We're waiting for that to get fixed.
