Crazy Mapping Issue

Sat Jul 08, 2017 9:36 pm
Hello,

Unlike many people, I use the mouse mode on my drawing tablet. I just got a newer drawing tablet, a wacom draw, and am experiencing an extremely unusual issue. There appears to be two cursors, one in pen mode and one in mouse mode. The cursor that actually does the drawing is in pen mode, and the cursor that allows me to manipulate the menus and sidebars is in mouse mode, making it extremely difficult to use. Every other program on my computer seems to recognize mouse mode perfectly fine. I haven't been able to find any information regarding this issue or any similar issues online.

Additionally, my old drawing tablet, some wacom bamboo thing, works fine. I have tried countless drawing programs and krita is the only one I've come across i truly enjoy, so the obvious solution of finding another program is undesirable.

Any help appreciated

We've had reports of cursor offset caused by the HIDPI, you can turn this off in settings->configure Krita->general->window settings.

Also, Krita just doesn't support mouse mode for tablet pens. So, if your tablet is in mouse mode, Krita will get very confused.
