Krita gives me an error every time I try to save anything. It's frozen right now so I can't post screenshots, but any idea what may be causing it?

What version of Krita? What operating system? Where are you trying to save to?

Version 3.1.4, on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.1. Trying to save it to my files.

Then make double plus sure the file dialog isn't trying to make you save to your system's root folder ("/") -- in the file dialog, go to your home folder instead.

I can't actually check right now as Krita is frozen. It says it is "waiting for image operation to complete" but it has been doing that for 2 hours. How do I cancel that?
