So i been saving and now i have the money to buy a Gtx 1060 6gb or a Gtx 1060 3gb and 8gb of ddr3 Ram.
I know ram is really important to handle really large canvas, but I'm confused about how it compares with vram and if it will make a big difference to have the double amount of vram or just extra ram.

vRAM is RAM that can be used in videocard functionality, like for example, openGL or CUDA.

Krita only uses openGL for showing the canvas really nicely and Instant Preview. We use regular RAM, which is for the CPU to handle much more commonly. So as far as Krita is concerned, regular RAM is more useful. On the opposite for a 3d program like Blender which uses openGL a lot, vRAM is very useful.
