i have this one problem with Krita, a week before i though krita would close itself randomly or after using heavy vector layers. Now i know that it happens sometimes, for some reason, when i switch from the Shape Manipulation Tool to the Pan using the Pan hotkey "space".
Now it is a general problem of krita or something that is only happening to me. |

Something like that has not been reported in the bugs database. If you make a bug report, make sure to mention your OS, the version of the OS, you computer's specs and if you're running on Windows, follow https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger to add a crash log.

Hello,
My krita is also closing itself sometimes without a warning. (Windows 10, 64 bit Krita 4.2.8 ) It's annoying, does someone know a solution to this bug? The crashlog reads as follows:

Since that mentions a crash in the karchive library, I suspect you're not using the latest version of Krita. If the latest beta (https://krita.org/en/item/krita-4-2-9-beta-released/) also crashes when opening that file, please report a bug and attach the file you're trying to load.

Hi,
I have now installed the latest 4.2.9-beta-version The problem persists, I can open any file, can work on it, but the application closes randomly after 10 to 30 min. Even if I'm not working on the application sometimes krita closes in the background. crashlog looks like the first:

Weird, this crash happens when Krita is trying to autosave your work. Can you manually save a new file?

I can open new files, save new files, open existing files, save changes, everything's working like charm, except for the closing-thing.
I will try to confirm a autosave-bug by turning off autosave. thanks for your help! |

if that makes a difference, please make a bug report on bugs.kde.org for the krita product; add the contents of help->system information for bug reports and your kritarc file. (See https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... figuration for the location of that file)
