Hi, I've downloaded the correct Krita zip, following instructions to make sure the qt file is in the right place, but unfortunately nothing is showing up extra. Krita settings show the qt file loaded, and underneath just says Plugin: ...
Filter, Start G'Mic-Qt shows, but when I click on it nothing happens. I recall trying another appimage (alpha 4, I think) where the image comes up boxed and can apply filters, but that's not happening. Unfortunately alpha 4 crashed/lost work, but the latest 2 appimages are very stable.

That could be because the version the gmic people build for linux is incompatible with your particular setup. We're trying to figure out how to improve that.

We appear to have a similar issue with Ubuntu as the available krita plugin is Debian yet it does not respond when activating the plugin.

I have a different art setup now, but was just clearing up subscriptions and saw your response; wanted to thank you for confirming that it's not solely an LM issue. Hope it fixes for you. ![]()
