Hi! I would really love to figure out how to create procreate-style timelapse videos of my drawings. I want to only record the brushstrokes when I'm drawing, instead of recording hours of screencasts and then speeding them up.
Is there any way to do this? With krita or some screencasting software? (that works on linux) Would it be difficult to write a script or an extension that saves an image after every brushstroke(without slowing down perfomance too much)? |

Only FireAlpaca, Medibang Paint and OpenCanvas record brush strokes and allow you to play them back, afaik. Unsurprisingly, all three software are made by PortalGraphics.

Not seeing any way other than record then speed up. Simplescreenrecorder is brilliant for recording painting on Linux. David Revoy uses kdenlive to speed up videos: https://davidrevoy.com/article115/video ... se-kynitia
