Hi, I recently purchased a new 2017 macbook pro with os sierra version 10.12.5. I had previously been running krita on a 2009 macbook pro (ill have to check the osx--i think it was yosemite) with the latest version of krita (3.1.4) and had no issues, except that krita would freeze oftentimes when saving files as .pngs. However, with the new computer, I was having krita crash on me constantly. I re-installed the latest version of krita, but no luck. The crashing seems to start up more when i used the paint bucket and lasso tools, but once it started crashing, it would continue crashing every 2-3 minutes regardless of what tool i was using. I enabled openGL logging, and increased the RAM settings (currently the memory limit is about 10G). I also reinstalled my driver for my huion monitor, which had never been a problem with my old computer. Restarting the computer failed to resolve the issue. I am stuck at this point--does anyone have any advice? Or is there a way to send you a bug report? Krita has been a great program but is practically unusable with this issue on my new computer.
Thanks, Essi |
